December 31, 2023:
Cathia, last milking of the season, after 325 DIM – photo taken just before I dried her off.
She’s a pretty special heifer out of Trim Cath.
She did just over 600kgMS for the season – expected more but she was struck down by a mystery illness back in July and plummetted from 30 litres a day to 15.
She did pick up after that but didn’t get back over 23litres a day.
In calf to Chocochip, due Feb 10.
